The Foundation Fighting Blindness will host its 2^nd Annual 5K VisionWalk, a national signature fundraising event, in San Diego on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Mission Bay Park-De Anza Cove, 3000 East Mission Drive, San Diego, CA  92109. Enjoy a complimentary breakfast, DJ, a beautiful walk path along the shore, activities for kids, and more while raising money and awareness for retinal degenerative diseases. New this year will be the VisionZone sponsored by Optelec and ShopLowVision.com where walkers will experience a variety of activities related to low vision including navigating through an obstacle course wearing sight-reducing goggles, a Daily Living Area complete with low vision products, and a Health & Wellness area.
