Michael Vick Reinstated

We asked you about Michael Vick being reinstated in the NFL.

Michael Vick should have the same opportunity at retribution that anyone else in society is afforded. Yes, what he did is horrific and deplorable, however, he has served his time and paid his dues. No one else is denied the opportunity to return to their profession after going through the justice system, why should Vick be any different. Unfortunately, we live in a trenchant society where we feel the need to destroy the name and reputation of others, especially after they have made themselves vulnerable. Maybe we should be more inspectful and critical of our own selves, and let others live their own lives. -- Sean

Vick should never be allowed to be on the playing field again being a dog lover and all animals. I find it appaualing that anyone whom has seen the way these fighting dogs are treated and the things done by these poor abused animals could let let guy even step on any playing field. What you do on your own time tells alot about what you are his offence says it all and he got off way to easy because he was a "star" In my opinoin he is a burned out light bulb NO STAR !!! -- John

I don't believe Vick should be re-instated to play in the NFL. Yes, he served his time, but is a horrible role model for young athletes. He allowed his dogs to be abused for money. Thankfully many of his dogs have been rehabilitated and adopted out through an animal rescue in Southern Utah. Animal cruelty is outrageous and akin to child abuse, as the animals are innocent victims. -- Patrick

The NFL has more than a few ex-criminals who made a wrong choice, paid their dues and got a second chance. Although Vick's crime was hideous and unacceptable, if the NFL is willing to give him a second chance, maybe we should too. -- John

I think it is atrocious that the NFL would even consider letting Mr. VIck return to the playing field. Its just another message sent to our kids that it's ok to awful things as long as your a professional sports player. Maybe if Mr. Vick is lucky enough to find a team that will sign him, they should put in his contract that for the first year, his salary goes the SPCA to help all the abused animals. -- LeighAnne

Any man that could do what he did to those poor dogs doesn't deserve to be re-instated to the NFL. I hope no team picks him up. -- George

Michael Vick was scum when he was in college and continues to be scum now. Why should he be given a chance to play a game for money? Have him get a real 9-5 job and get in touch with reality before allowing him the prestige of a professional athlete again. -- Brett

Mike Vick has served his time, but there needs to be some type of psychological screening done to try and make sure he has truly changed and will not repeat his mistakes before he plays again. -- Kyle

Woof...woof woof woof.....wooooooof...woofff woof woof !!!! -- Ken

I believe Micheal Vic Deserves a second chance. He Knows what he has done and he has changed -- Francisco
