One thing we try to do here at San Diego 6 is answer every viewer's email. If your have a question or concern, we try to give you a personal response. That's the philosophy right from the top and it's a good policy.
Once in awhile we get people who leave phony email addresses so we have no way to respond. That happened tonight with Sal from North Park who was concerned about changes at the station. That's a very valid thing to ask about and we try to address everyone who writes in with that question.
Sometimes, however, people make assumptions that just aren't true. This also happened with Sal who ended his email upset that Jeff Powers was sitting in for the night for Heather Myers:
"Now you have two MEN doing the news???!!!!??? Balanced news???? I think it's clear by your choice to have a man with another man deliver the day's happenings which side of the gay marriage issue you stand on! You should be ashamed! Using television as a soapbox for gay marriage!!!???!!!??!!! I considered myself a loyal viewer of your station, but these changes are forcing me to reconsider my viewing choices."
Have you never heard of Huntley-Brinkley, Sal? Or McNeil-Lehrer? Sometimes, it's okay in polite society for two men to read the news together.
