Charger's Fan Rules

We asked you about the Chargers' new rules for fans.

No cursing at an NFL game??? Since when have NFL games become a day care center?! This is NOT the circus! The First Amendment allows me to say whatever the _____ I please!  -  Brian, Solana Beach

I think that it is great they are starting to crack down on some things. The text messaging will be great because security can't see everything that's happening. It helps to keep the games a little safer. You have kids around at these games seeing this and it teaches them that fighting is okay. This is what happens when you have alcohol involved; people act stupid. The random DUI checks is a great thing too! It reduces dangerous people on the roads!  -  Sherry, San Diego

I agree going to charger games should be an experience based on sports and not a place for thugs to make it uncomfortable for true football fans.  -  Rey, Oceanside

I think it's about time it happened. It's really sad that you pay all that money for a ticket only to wind up being surrounded by drunken, obnoxious people. You can't just sit and enjoy the game. I would never take a young child to see a game in person, who knows what could happen. What they really need to do is prohibit people from entering the stadium who are visibly intoxicated before gametime. There's plenty of them in the parking lot before every home game.  -  Jay, East County
