Sycuan Liquor License

We asked your views about the fight over a liquor license at the Sycuan casino.

why does Sycuan have to ask for a liquor license ? their reservation is thier own country, since we robbed, raped, and stole all they had. they shouldnt have to even ask for a license, they should be allowed to do whatever they want in thier OWN COUNTRY !  -  Jason, East County

How about installing guard rails (at Sycuan's expense) along Dehesa Rd where the biggest risk of accidents exists?  -  S. Brod, Carlsbad

Ultimately it's the consumers decision on whether to drink and drive. The Casino shouldn't have to lose money because of someones stupidity. Thats why casinos have hotels on site. If the casino takes all the necessary precautions, why deny them something they are allowed to have?  -  Delanie, El Cajon

its about time that an alcohol license was denied at a casino. if alcohol is served at Sycuan and the people who drank have to drive home it will cause more problems on our road. its always better safe than sorry.  -  Michelle, San Diego

I think they should approve the license for liquor. If all the other casino here have one why should sycuan only be the one to not have one? All the other casinos are around residental area also. Well if they don't let sycuan have a license, I don't think all the other once should have a license eather. Barona has a curvy 2 lane road and they serve liquor. I don't see why not I like that casino is one of the best.  -  Jacqueline, Chula Vista
